Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) have a key role to play in ensuring improvement in waste management. Confederation of RWAs (CoRWA) and Green Society of India are organizing MAYORS & RWAs SUMMIT 2024 in association with Delhi RWA United front, Confederation of RWA-Uttar Pradesh (CoRWA-UP), United Residents Joint Action (URJA), United Residents Delhi (URD), Linepar RWA Federation & Flat Owners Federation Ghaziabad (FOFG) with the main theme “Waste Management” on 7th June, 2024 at INDIA EXPO CENTRE, GREATER NOIDA, UP, INDIA as a part of World Environment Conference (WEC 24).
MAYORS & RWAs SUMMIT 2024 is a National Summit of Resident Welfare Associations and Mayors with the main objective to discuss the role of RWAs in Waste Management. High quality professional, leaders, industry experts, decision makers, Delegates, Central and State Government Departments, Public Sector Units, Private Sector Companies, Municipal Bodies, Development Authorities are being invited for this Summit on 5th June 2024.
Resident Welfare Associations are the finest expression of urban civil society consensus: an answer to many urban social problems, a tool for community building and for self - management and direct democracy. The thrust of this Summit would be on promoting a new urban cosmopolitan culture in which RWAs would seek empowerment from the government and play an important role in improving the quality of life of their residents by building smart, efficient, and caring communities.
1000 delegates are expected to attend this Summit & 200 plus Exhibitors in 6,000 Sq M of Exhibition space and provision for visit of about 10,000 high calibre Environment & Allied Industry Professionals in Expo and Conference.
All India Mayors & RWAs Summit is a part of World Environment Expo starting on 4th June 2024.
